How it works
Chime 4 Breakfast watches supported AI desktop apps and plays a completion cue when a response finishes. Sound profiles per event and an optional screen glow in the app’s color.
Privacy and trust
- Open source under the MIT license.
- Source code is publicly available. Public binary signing and notarization remain pending independent verification.
- Capture Diagnostics is explicit and user-triggered. The saved Desktop report can include visible prompt or reply text, so review it before sharing and delete it when no longer needed.
